The Chevrolet Agile Cars pictures

The Chevrolet Agile is a subcompact car developed by General Motors in Brazil and built in Argentina. The vehicle is powered by a Family 1 engine Flex-fuel engine, and while the 1.4L version is the only one available, it is rumored that in the future there will be trim versions using the 1.0L and 1.8L.

Based on the GPiX Concept, introduced at the 2008 São Paulo Auto Show[1][2], the Agile competes with the Volkswagen Fox and similar models.

The Chevrolet Avalanche

The Chevrolet Avalanche is a four-door, five or six passenger sport utility truck sharing GM's long-wheelbase chassis used on the Chevrolet Suburban and Cadillac Escalade EXT. Unlike the typical pickup truck, the open bed of the Avalanche opens to the back seat area via a folding panel (marketed as a 'midgate') and removable rear window. A series of three removable panels form a watertight top for the cargo bed. Additional storage is provided behind each wheelwell, accessed by locking flip-top panels and usable as self-draining ice chests.

Engine & Mileage

Power to the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche comes from a 5.3 liter V8 engine that produces 320 hp at an angular speed of 5200 rpm and torque of 340 lb ft at 4200 rpm. The V8 engine comes with active fuel management system. The sole transmission available to the model is a four-speed automatic with overdrive. With the V8 engine, the 2007 model can achieve fuel economy of 12 to 15 miles per gallon in the city premises and 16 to 21 miles per gallon on the highway roads.

Interiors

The standard interior features in the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche include 8-inch screen, CD/MP3 compatible radios with an enhanced DVD entertainment system, an upgraded HVAC system, new storage compartments, power driver seat, keyless entry, dual zone front air conditioning, and a larger glove box. It offers touch screen navigation system as optional.

Chevrolet Avalanche – Review: There’s definitely a strong contingent of people out there who attack everything in life with a “what if…?” attitude – what if I decide to buy a house in six months? What if we have twins? Often, the end result means making choices that cover all your bases, and in terms of vehicles, that takes shape in the form of a Chevrolet Avalanche. Essentially a pickup truck and full-size SUV bundled into one, this rig will serve dutifully regardless of what life throws your way by comfortably carrying and entertaining five passengers, transforming from large to extra large covered or uncovered cargo hauler, impressing the boss during trips to the links, and for 2007, doing so with added style and quality.
